I view the therapist-client relationship as a journey we take together in a car. You're in the driver's seat, deciding where we're going and how fast we move. As your therapist, I sit in the passenger seat, offering my expertise and compassion to guide you, but ultimately, you control the direction and pace. Using a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic modalities, my goal is to help you develop resilience, navigate life’s challenges, and build lasting change on your terms.

I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, my approach to therapy is rooted in the idea that we can’t control the waves, but we can learn to surf. I believe that with the right support, we can develop the skills to move through life’s challenges with resilience and confidence. I earned my undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from National University. During my graduate training, I completed my practicum at Southern California Recovery Centers, where I worked with addiction, trauma, depression, and anxiety helping clients pursue lasting healing.

In addition to my clinical work, I previously served as a Mental Performance Coach at the Athletic Mind Institute, where I helped athletes strengthen their mental game and develop the tools needed to manage high-pressure environments. As a former competitive golfer, I understand the mental challenges that come with performance and incorporate process-oriented cognitive and psychodynamic techniques, along with mindfulness, to build resilience both on and off the field.

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and humanistic approaches to create a therapeutic space that is both structured and deeply personal. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth, and I’m committed to walking alongside my clients as they navigate their unique journeys.
